122 – Yoga for Diabetes Class 1 by Smt. Sangeeta Padmanabhan | Yoga for Unity and Well-being

Yoga is a great addition to diet and medicine to control your blood sugar. Yoga stimulates the metabolism, improves digestion by massaging the abdominal organs and regulates the hormonal system. This is all that is needed for diabetes. Practice gently, if you have high BP stick to the asanas specifically prepared for hypertension. Make sure you breathe comfortably throughout and never push yourself.

Smt Sangeeta Padmanabhan did her Teachers Training from ‘The Yoga Institute’, Santacruz East, Mumbai in 2005. She has also secured a 2-year Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga from the Mumbai University. Sangeeta has been teaching classical and therapeutic Yoga in Juhu Mumbai (along with pregnancy yoga, kids yoga and yoga for corporates) for over fifteen years and wrote on Yoga for health magazines. A Heartfulness meditation practitioner, she now volunteers her time to lend her experience for Heartfulness Yoga projects.
